How to get people to join a non-profit without giving swag

Environmental and non-profit organizations struggle to find member benefits that drive donor retention without contradicting their mission by producing physical waste or energy use. Because traditional tangible incentives and exclusive events fail to attract supporters or increase participation, organizations are left with low member engagement and low-cost memberships that fail to convert event attendees into donors.
