How to get a stuck washing machine drum shaft out of the bearing
Front-load washing machine drum shafts often seize tightly inside the inner bearing, making them extremely difficult to pull apart without damaging the delicate spider arms or stripping the shaft threads. Forcing the parts apart incorrectly can permanently bend the assembly, leaving you unable to complete the bearing replacement and forcing a costly full-drum replacement.
