Why is my grass seed not germinating evenly?
Grass seed often germinates unevenly because water washes the seeds away from bare spots or over-saturates areas near the sprinkler, preventing uniform growth. People constantly worry that hot weather will dry out the seed or that they are watering too much, making it difficult to keep the soil consistently damp without ruining coverage.
