Washer making a loud screeching noise during spin cycle
A high-pitched screeching noise toward the end of the spin cycle usually indicates a failing drive motor bearing, a worn-out tub bearing, or an obstruction in the drive system. When this component wear or failure occurs, it prevents the drum from reaching proper high-speed rotations, leaving clothes completely soaked at the end of a wash.
