Said It Here

Why is my child always late getting ready for school?

Children frequently find morning distractions instead of focusing on getting dressed and out the door. When parents try to force changes alone, it makes them feel like the only ones who care about punctuality while causing costly and stressful daily standoffs.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Using incentive systems and reward charts like stickers or collectible cards
  2. 2
    Setting morning alarms earlier
  3. 3
Taking away privileges or favorite items like game consoles when late
