Do I need a details card if I have a wedding website?

Including a details card solely to direct guests to a wedding website can feel redundant, but skipping it leaves some people unsure of how to find the information or RSVP. This tension makes it difficult to finalize stationery without second-guessing whether guests will know where to look.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Putting all information and RSVP details on a wedding website
  2. 2
Placing information on the back of the invitation
  3. 3
Inviting one friend at a time and waiting for declines before inviting the other couple
  4. 4
Finding a larger venue or eloping
  5. 5
Cutting a friend entirely rather than splitting up a couple
