How many extra wedding invitations to order and avoid extra postage

Finding a rule of thumb for acceptances is difficult because short timelines lower attendance and some guests simply leave their kids at home. When ordering extras to invite more relatives and avoid family drama, you must also figure out how to make envelopes look pretty without details like wax seals adding too much bulk for standard postage stamps.
