Why are there two search boxes right on top of each other?
Placing two text input fields closely stacked in the interface causes users to constantly type order numbers or product names into the wrong box. This redundant layout leads to frequent typing errors and frustration during administrative tasks.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Accepting the interface as is because it cannot be changed

“Because I constantly type in that field rather then the normal search box? It is monumentally stupid to place 2 "type in fields" on top of each other.”source ↗
