Why is remote management software so slow and laggy?

Remote management tools often suffer from sluggish performance, unpredictable lag, and commands that fail to execute without multiple restarts. This forces administrators to waste time waiting on mandatory downloads and stalled device wipes instead of getting work done efficiently.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
    Messing around with firewall rules
  2. 2
Bypassing corporate firewalls using a 5G connection
  3. 3
Switching to alternative tools like MeshCentral or TeamViewer
  4. 4
pivoting back to on-premise tools like Citrix or SCCM

“Just now had to restart twice for a wipe command to make it through. You'd think commands like those should be prioritized, but nah... The device will be wiped at the next restart.... Or 3”source ↗
