Why does my steering get sharper when I accelerate?

The vehicle unexpectedly pulls to one side or makes turns sharper exclusively while pressing the gas pedal, returning to normal when you let off. This constant pulling during acceleration is often accompanied by an intermittent clunking noise from the front suspension.
