Why does my electric car creep forward when I pump the brakes?
Repeatedly pressing and releasing the brake pedal while stopped can disrupt the vacuum or regenerative braking pressure, causing the vehicle to unexpectedly roll forward or backward. This sudden movement prevents drivers from maintaining a secure stationary position, creating a risk of unintended rolling until the parking brake is engaged.
