Said It Here

Why does my desktop software say my subscription expired when it hasn't?

Random pop-up dialogs erroneously claim active subscriptions have expired despite accounts being fully paid. This causes unnecessary confusion for users, forcing them to constantly check their account status or simply ignore warnings that appear out of nowhere.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Clicking the 'x' to close the dialog box without taking any further action
  2. 2
Manually syncing license data online through the help menu

We use QB Desktop '24 on subscription and every so often, I get a Windows dialog pop-up saying our subscription has expired and needs renewed.source ↗

This has been happening randomly on my Enterprise desktop for months now. Only occasionally and I also ignore it to no apparent ill effect.source ↗
