Why does my VPN or remote connection keep dropping?
Remote tools like mobile VPNs are completely unpredictable, connecting instantly one moment while failing or taking forever the next. Additionally, application connectors like Claude to NetSuite disconnect daily, forcing users to repeatedly relog without any way to extend session lengths.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Use a VPN that can fall back to SSL
- 2Use Wireguard or OpenVPN instead
- 3Enabling IKE Fragmentation and MOBIKE in Phase 1 settings
- 4Extract client data from NetSuite and use it locally for the LLM, making only delta calls to NetSuite
- 5Connecting from Windows instead of macOS or iOS devices
- 6Manually updating the date and time settings via terminal or system preferences
